Project details

What we need
  • Recommendation(s) on the most appropriate livestreaming software, depending on Organization's needs and budget
  • Training for up to 5 staff on how to set-up and use chosen software
  • Note: Some livestreaming software providers may provide free or heavily discounted plans for 501(c)(3) nonprofits
Additional details

We would be doing a livestreamed virtual fundraiser. The bulk of it would be pre-recorded video, but there would be some live in between with a host and guests. In addition to knowing about the appropriate software, I would also need to know about equipment to use (camera, mic) and best practices.

What we have in place
  • We currently have videos of examples other orgs have done, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas about other media to include, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,145 , allowing us to continue to pay our full-time staff to produce educational materials for prisons and to teach summer camps for kids.

We are finishing fundraising for construction of our theater space, which will host performances, classes, community events and promote social justice. This will directly help us raise the money.
